This 1962 Kohno is a 648mm scale with a nut width of 49.36mm. The condition is outstanding for a guitar over 60 years old.  The action is set to 3.5mm on the bass and just over 2.5mm on the treble side at the 12th fret. Plays and sounds like a dream. It has a unique sound that the early Kohno's possess. These highly collectable early 60's were made after Kohno's return from a 6 month visit to Spain where he studied the work of  Arcangel Fernandez and returned with a Fleta guitar. This is as nice an example as you will find complete with the original tuners and the original case.  Ideal for a player with small to middle sized hands or the guitarist acostumed to a steel string acoustic.

Purchase a guitar with confidence.

Guitars are accurately rated.on quality of sound and appearance.  I hold a pefrormance degree from UNM and was an associate professor under Hector Garcia.  I also studied four summers in Cervera Spain with Emilio Pujol.  Recordings of each instrument enable you to choose the best guitar that fits your budget and desired sound. These instruments have been checked, adjusted and repaired as needed. Action is set to the most comfortable for a finger nail player with a strong technique. Note I do play with fingertips so sound vill vary from that of a nail player.
