1967 Kohno no5 $4,750

The rarest and most collectable of all the Kohnos is the 1967. This guitar was built in the year Kohno won the prestigious Belgium Concours judged by Spanish composer Joaquin Rodrigo (Concerto de Aranjuez),  Spanish luthier Ignacio Fleta, French luthier Robert Bouchet, and guitarist Alerio Diaz. Daniel Frederich placed 2nd behind Kohno. Already a renown luthier, the competetion put Kohno on the international map. The guitar is impeccable.  There is a professionally repaired crack on the back. No consequence on the sound of this phonemal guitar.
